Bethesda Bluegrass Band

The Bethesda Bluegrass Band is a talented, dynamic group of young individuals who are seeking to carry on bluegrass music for the next generation. Brothers Caleb (17), Jackson (16), and Connor (14) Hagwood carry powerful, hard-driving rhythms on bass, banjo, and mandolin, while Holly Riley (17) and Virginia Groover (16) take it away on fiddle and guitar. Hailing from Durham and Franklinton, NC, these young musicians provide a family-friendly show that is sure to impress.

Tax Tea Party 4.15.09

We were honored to perform at the Raleigh Tax Day Tea Party today at 6:00 p.m. in Downtown Raleigh at the Capitol building. It was a national gathering across the country protesting the "new" government's use of the peoples' tax money! Guest speakers included: N.C. Senator Phil Berger, 2008 N.C. Governor canidate Mike Munger, former canidate for US House of Representatives BJ Lawson; Larry Hull with Fair Taxation, and Senior at Duke University & John Locke Intern, Abby Alger. The Raleigh Tea Party was hosted by local radio personality, Bill LuMaye, of news talk 680 WPTF.

The Rex Theater
