The Bethesda Bluegrass Band is a talented, dynamic group of young individuals who are seeking to carry on bluegrass music for the next generation. Brothers Caleb (17), Jackson (16), and Connor (14) Hagwood carry powerful, hard-driving rhythms on bass, banjo, and mandolin, while Holly Riley (17) and Virginia Groover (16) take it away on fiddle and guitar. Hailing from Durham and Franklinton, NC, these young musicians provide a family-friendly show that is sure to impress.

WSVS 3.27.10
We left the house at 8 a.m. and headed up to Crewe, Va. to play on the High Noon Hoedown on WSVS AM 800. The High Noon Hoedown is an hour performance/interview with bands who play on there. We performed songs such as: "Ole Slew Foot", "No Depressions in Heaven", and Johnny Horton's: "Sleepy Eyed John". After we played, we had some delicious BBQ, slaw, and green beans catered by Mr. B. from Victoria, Va. While enjoying a delicious meal, another bluegrass group, The Fitzmaurice band played after us, and we thoroughly enjoyed listening to them!
