The Bethesda Bluegrass Band is a talented, dynamic group of young individuals who are seeking to carry on bluegrass music for the next generation. Brothers Caleb (17), Jackson (16), and Connor (14) Hagwood carry powerful, hard-driving rhythms on bass, banjo, and mandolin, while Holly Riley (17) and Virginia Groover (16) take it away on fiddle and guitar. Hailing from Durham and Franklinton, NC, these young musicians provide a family-friendly show that is sure to impress.

Emerald Pond 8.27.09
We performed out at Emerald Pond in Durham on Thursday August 27th at 11 a.m. for their Corn Festival. This was their first performance without Mark (dad), and it went well. After the performance, we had lunch in the dining room and also listened to a man speak on corn, popcorn, ect... We also taste-tested popcorn to debate which one tasted the best. It was Oriville Redenbacher: Movie Theater Butter, and Act II Butter; and Oriville Redenbacher reched the highest ratings. Our grandmother, Shirley Briggs, and our aunt, Betty Lovitte also attended.
