Last night we performed at the National Night Out in Wake Forest in the Super Target parking lot. National Night Out (NNO) teams law enforcement agencies with citizens, community leaders, civic groups, and local businesses to promote safe, healthy neighborhoods. NNO is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness; generate support for, and participation in, local anticrime programs; strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships; and send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
The highlight of the evening was when a military helicopter landed and took off in the parking lot. It was our honor to perform at this event, and we hope to do it again in the near future!
